Bridge Maintenance
Beginning Monday, October 10, 2011 all Downtown Joliet litt bridges will be experiencing periodic lane closures due to IDOT maintenance.
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be performing maintenance in the form of washing the bridges located in Downtown Joliet, beginning Monday, October 10. The maintenance work is scheduled to conclude by October 21, 2011. Life bridges located at McDonough Street, Jefferson Street, Cass Street, Jackson Street and Ruby Street will all be subject to lane closures during this period.
Guests heading west on I-80 should exit at 132 to get to Harrah's Joliet. We apologize for the inconvenience.

During Highway Construction:
From Downtown Chicago via Dan Ryan:
Take I-94 east (Dan Ryan) Merge onto I-57 south.
Merge onto I-80 west.
Merge onto I-30 west (exit 137) Stay on I-30 for approx. 4 miles.
I-30 turns into Cass St.
Left on Joliet St. Arrive at Harrah’s Casino and Hotel.
From Downtown Chicago via Stevenson Expressway:
Take I-55 South to Tollway I-355 south (exit 269).
Go approx. 10 miles. Exit on US Route 6 and turn right.
Turn left on Collins St.
Turn right on Cass St.
Left on Joliet St. Arrive at Harrah’s Casino and Hotel.
From Southern Illinois via I-55:
Take I-55 North and exit on Arsenal Rd. (Exit 245)
Turn right onto Arsenal Rd. which turns into Manhattan Rd.
Turn left on Route 53 (Chicago St.)
Go left on Washington St.
Right on Joliet St. Arrive at Harrah’s Casino and Hotel.
